If you like that then you should check out Tristaina my personal favorate is Shadowman. The dualing between the woman and guy are very well done, as well as the guitar, bas and drums. The Keyboard is an awsome mix into it as well. I cant really say enough about this Band. They are not from the states, so I take not many may have even heard of them. But I think with enough exposure given, a lot of people may get into there stuff. Only thing is their latest album is not the greatest. maybe two or 3 good songs. but their older stuff is awsome!

depends on how you look at it, take canable corpes for example. Can understand a darn thing they play of say, but when you break it down or even slow it down and tune the voice down a litlle, you can actully come to admire the way they play. personally I dont like the new screamers and a lot of goth (the modern term EMO) that were put out in the 80's and 90's are actully quite good, and they play together. Sad thing is no very many of the moderen day groups today do, and that is all geners of rock. That being said, I am only standoing up for these two because I conme in here everyday, and I am sick and tired of all of those (you know who you are) who never have anything good or nice to say about anything. Too much Negitvie vibs going around. I consiter myself goth, yet I out grew the black and makeups and all that crazy **** I used to do when I was young. still have the long hair. But thats besides the point. Look up Tristania and listen to a few songs before you go bashing I am sure if you listen to "shadowman" you will be eating your words about EMO (the real term is "Goth"). Ever heard of Danzig? Emo and Goth are two different things you twit. Modern day emo came from a subgenre of hardcore punk mixed with obnoxious 2000s music and culture, and pop punk. I can't believe I actually read that mess. How did you get through MIDDLE SCHOOL? The reason we insult everybody is because there are so many morons that came here after the game came out that want Linkin Park, or any other crappy emo/scene/nu metal/ suck band.

Yes I did. Music is not clasified properly now adays. Danzig is in on fact Goth Metal. I am cotridicting myself by trying to explain this, but let me just try. Greenday is being called rock opra when in fact they should be called Alteritive. Emo is all forms of goth mix in with rock, speed metel, surf, death metal, regular metal, etc. Like I said people can put me down all they want, but I'll tell you this, I do know my music and the right clasification, even if I cant explain it, which I cant due to the fact that I have a job to do. and to the one who insults me, Do what you will just cause you dont understand something doesnt mean to put one who does down. Another words seeing isnt beleiving, but beleiving is seeing. And the only way to see all forms of music you must try to take in what you are listening to and just let it flow

I was really hoping this wasnt going to be another forum full of 13 year old kids sitting at thier computers raving about how N.I.B. And Mr.Crowly are the greatest songs in the world.

There are diffrent genres and diffrent eras, comparing one to another is like coparing blue to yellow. Everyone has thier favorites but theres no way everyones gonna completely agree. so just leave the topics that youre not fond of alone, and I'll do the same.

I actually like some hardcore/scremo/emo/metal-core/whatever you wanna call it. I mostly like Emery, Dance Gavin Dance, Pierce the Veil, Atreyu, Throwdown, Terror, Protest the Hero, Saosin (old stuff with Anthony Green), Killswitch Engaged, From Autumn to Ashes, Horse the Band, etc. The list can go on and on. All of these are very talented bands that actually do some good for the hardcore/screamo/and all of those kinds of genres.

The sad thing to say is that most of this stuff would probably never work for Rock Band cause a lot of them use double bass pedals and the screaming except for bands like Emery, some Pierce the Veil, and some Saosin which dont include screaming or double bass pedal parts. I would love to see some of these bands in game because playing the actual thing on guitar or drums is amazingly fun but like i said i doubt most of the hardcore songs would work.

Just my two cents....

All in all i think Ronnie James Dio - Holy Diver should be in Rock Band...

Silverstein is great. if you like If You Could See Into My Soul you should look into their older stuff. I have all their albums, their first two (when broken is easily fixed & discovering the waterfront) I liked better then their new one.
