Yeah, but what does that have to do with anything?

Turtle Beach (http://www.turtlebeach.com/) makes some great gaming headphones with built in Xbox Live Headsets.

If you're not looking for a specific type of headphone, Bose earbuds (http://www.bose.com/controller?url=/shop_online/headphones/audio_headphones/in_ear_headphones/index.jsp) are awesome, and they're worth $89.95. I had a pair until the left earbud died about 6 1/2 months after getting them.

They sound amazing and your ear canals don't get irritated by it at all.

i dunno how it'd work out for gaming, but for listening to music (or making it for that matter) these are pretty good...

I haven't tried that particular pair myself, but I've heard good things about them. You can't really go wrong with Sennheisers though.

Why spend so much? These (http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=4503923&st=SONY+HEADPHONES&type=product&id=1051806135345) headphones are cheap and they're the best headphones I've ever owned. I've had them 3 & 1/2 years now. Although, the cord is a little long so if you're going to be using them walking about then you're better off with some isolation earbuds from a brand like Shure but for video-games you can't get any better and they're especially good for the long cord because of this.
