I sent my guitar in on the 3rd for exchange. After numerous delays they told me it would be here yesterday. I had my girlfriend come here yesterday to accept it. It didnt show up. I took off work today because nobody could be here to accept it. It didnt come today, They sent me no tracking number, just swore that it would be here on wenesday. I called them today and my order was freaking canclelled and nobody informed me. So they told me I have to wait another 3-4 days to recieve the guitar. I wish I had never purchased it now. I love the game but hate the run around I am getting.

Sorry to hear that. There's bound to be a few horror stories out there with so many returns. Hopefully you got offered a free game and that might mollify you a little. I guess the best part is you have a few other instruments to work with and you know that the game itself rocks.

Good luck with the new guitar when it arrives!

I think the worst thing is they didnt even say I am sorry, it was you should recieve your new guitar in the next few days. They didnt offer any free game or even the slightest hint of an apology.

Well, plenty of us who've had a much better experience than you have been offered a free game without even calling EA. It sounds like you deserve, at the very least, an apology. Might call back and try to get hold of a manager or something.

The thing that blow my mind are that people are skipping work or have friends wait around to receive the shipments. These are not concrete -guaranteed dates. Its an estimate which can change according to weather, traffic, volume of delivery due to CHRISTMAS...

When receiving any shipment unless there is a guarantee to be there from the shipper you should take the delivery date as an approximate delivery date....

My RMA was cancelled without any word from EA also.
When I contacted EA Support, I was never given a reason why it was cancelled nor why I wasn’t informed, they just created a new RMA for me. When I inquired about the free game, I was informed that the game is being offered by Harmonix and that it was only available to people who filed a warranty claim in the first 7 days of the games' release. Well, I filed my original claim on the 26th (the game released on the 20th). Since EA cancelled it, the new claim was filed on the 27th, one day past the 7 day period for a free game. They did offer me a $15 coupon to use at the EA Store, but I’m STILL waiting for my replacement:mad:

I contacted EA again and they gave me a tracking number for my guitar. They also offered me a game after reviewing the case and how my RMA was cancelled. I recived the tracking number for my game too. So hopefully I will be playing my rock band again this time next week. I would also like to thank Mike the customer service rep that handled my last call, he was the first one to offer an apology for what happened.
