View Full Version : Which Songs You Wish You Wrote?

I would like to see the people's opinion about the songs they wish to have written. I would like that people did not use songs like Stairway To Heaven or Bohemian Rhapsody or songs like that because then other people would use the G-word and I hate that word. For those who don't know that word, good for you. Here is my list:
I Love It Loud/KISS
18 and Life/Skid Row
Jeremy/Pearl Jam
Whiplash/Metallica
London Calling/The Clash
Holy Diver/Dio
Aerials/System of a Down
Bulls on Parade/Rage Against The Machine
Those are the ones that came to mind. There are a lot more but those are the ones I could think of. Please don't use the G-word and have fun deciding. SORRY FOR THE GRAMMAR ERROS IF THERE ARE ANY

I can't really say because a lot of music I listen to doesn't come out clearly in the music I make, which leads to less rip offs(actually, don't think I have ripped off anyone yet) and wishing that I wrote it first. :)

Now that that's out of the way,
"Shut Up and Dance" by Aerosmith
"Sappy" by Nirvana
"Hook in Mouth" by Megadeth
"Permanent" by David Cook
And a very good song that was successful so I'd be rich. PAINT IT BLACK

This, my own style of writing music is pretty unparalleled.

I wish I could write any song that doesn't suck. But I lack talent, so I won't get my hopes up.

I wish I was neil Peart, so I could write all the rush songs. Oh yeah, and the best drummer.

Lyric wise or music wise? All the members have a very big influence on how the music sounds.

that "Hey There Delilah" song, cause I would have been a millionaire. That song is so incredibly simple, banal, and boring that I could have written it, and I can't play guitar!

I realize that(huge RUSH Fan), but for this fourm, I would say lyrics. Neil seems well rounded. I love Geddy and Alex, but I can't sing or play guitar/bass, so that leaves drumming. Also his kit is a beast. If only I had tha S&A, or R30 kit. Be practicing his solo's all the time!
