Can't start from Quick Mode, please help

When i go into quick mode, I am able to set the profiles for all three instruments (guitar, drums, and mic) and log in all the players from their respective controllers. But then nothing happens: the game doesn't freeze, I just can't get it to start the song.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

The band "Leader" then needs to click/hit/press the green button/pad. (once all characters are selected.)

I did try that but none of the buttons work, including start
