Haven't read the comics but the series was outstanding...it would be cool to see if done right. Especially the ending of the 7th book where King tells you to stop reading if you do not want to be pissed off. Wish I would have listened to him because I was extremely pissed off...

I never bothered with the last book in the series. The first 4 were great, easily my favorite King books and among my favorites of all time. But when I read the fifth one I was like "Huh? That was not really that good!" and then I read the sixth one and was like "All right F this, he has gone off the reservation." And so I never got around to reading the last one.

Loved the books..not sure if comic can really do it justice though.

Nice!!! I'm reading the series right now, I'm on the second book, "The Drawing Of The Three". Awesome book, hopefully the movie is just as good.

Read some of the comments, people are saying Christian Bale is going to play Roland.
