View Full Version : PS3 Owners Are In Luck
Today I just found out that later this year PS3 users that play Fallout 3 will be able to purchase this.

It only costs $59.99 for ALL FIVE DLC PACKS and the original game. It is quite the deal that any PS3 can't miss out on.

Congrats.
*edit* It's not just for PS3 either. It's for all 3. PS3, Xbox 360 and the PC.

I was confused when you said "users that play Fallout 3", as if you already had to own Fallout 3 to get this deal (which wouldn't make sense).
I'm definitely going to check this out.

What the hell? I just bought Fallout 3. Why couldn't I have waited?!
How unlucky....

Sounds tempting! Even I may get it, assuming they have done some bug-squashing since the content releases. Tales of DDR falling into bottomless pits and getting attacked by invincible Reavers are quite frightening.

I've never had my game send me falling through the floor.
I'm not going to buy the GOTY edition, the trade in value for FO3 is crap. I'll end up paying the same amount for all the DLC packs as I would for the GOTY edition. Besides, games run better from the HDD than they do from the disc.

Yeah, PS3 finally lucks out!
Too bad I don't play Fallout 3...

It is a very good deal. But I already have FO3 for the PC, which is what I generally prefer gaming on anyway, so I will not be picking it up for PS3.

You're missing out.
I've never played any of the Fallout games.
Am I seriously missing out here?

take the first word in your avatar, add buy it in between the two words, then add the last one.

You are kinda missing out by not playing FO3, yeah. However, you are SERIOUSLY missing out by not playing FO1 and 2. They are, IMO, some of the finest PC RPG's that have ever been created.

Ha ha...got it.

Ahh. So the first two in the series are only available on PC?

Correct, they are fairly old games, from the days before consoles started taking over. Do not worry about your system specs though the games are so old a modern calculator could probably run them.
Cool. Thanks Wolfbeckett, I'll check them out.
I rented Fallout 3 on PS3 and I think this is one of the best deals in gaming ever.

The only reason you shouldn't buy Fallout 3 is if you completely hate RPGs. I haven't played either of the previous games and I had a blast. Its is by far the best RPG I have ever played. BUY THIS GAME.

Maybe my math is wrong, but isn't it only $50 if you get all the packs on Xbox Live (five times ten bucks)?

The Fallout 3 game is contained within as well.

Oh, well that's pretty damn good then!
I heard that sales of the PS3 game were awful compared to the 360 version. This would certainly be a shot in the arm

I think so, yes. Bethesda, in my opinion, makes the best of the best when it comes to WRPG's.

I agree 100% with this.
I WAS going to buy Fallout 3 for my PS3, but I think I'll wait. :D

Well that's what happens when they announce exclusive DLC that isn't actually exclusive.
