with Novembers NPD numbers releasing just hours ago, it showed that even with its(Rock Band) high price and limited supply to retail stores it still managed to sell 312K for 360 while the PS3 version sold 70K

now imagine if there were no supply constraints, jeesus it would have probably hit halo numbers.

Interestingly, GH3 had monster sales on the PS2 and the Wii (967K and 426K), but weak sales on the 360 and the PS3, where they went head to head with Rock Band.

If everywhere else was like the two Walmart's in my town there was about 8:1 ratio of Xbox to PS3 bundles in stock :eek:

Well there is a lot less of a user base for the PS3 so those numbers make sense.

If these numbers are for November, then it reflects 10 days, not 30.

Rockband launched on Nov 20.

Rockband is what sold me on getting a PS3, so the money flow works 2 ways.

They made far fewer PS3 bundles than 360 bundles. That is likely why there is such a difference in the numbers. Units shipped vs. sold would be more helpful.

Well - I guess that 65 million dollars makes it a lot easier to pay for these guitars - the freaking interest on it alone probably pays for all the replacement guitars. For whatever reason, this makes me feel even more f*cked over.
