New Stratocaster for Sale ( XBOX 360 )

I thought I would post this for those of you looking for a second guitar but don't have any guitar hero accessories around that are compatible. There are a bunch of guitars up there so hopefully those looking can find one at a good price.

Let me know what you think about this post, the price I'm asking and the craziness that is getting 4 instruments.

I am lucky enough to have enough friends in close proximity that all bought GH3.

That is funny the shipping may be high but do to size and weight. 25 bucks for shipping :eek:what a ripp off I had the whole bundel shipped for less. What does the guitar weight 3 ponds. That is why i'm not a fan of ebay that much unless i have to buy from there.

Thanks for the reply, This was my first selling item on ebay. I was going off what other people did but got nervous and didn't want to loose money on shipping. Since I am on the east coast I got worried it would be real expensive to ship to CA thats why I added that bottom comment. I was planning on refunding whatever I didnt use but I realize that sounds shaddy.

Any suggestions on how I fix this, I actually tried to lower it and can figure out how to change it.

As a long term eBay seller, you can modify (revise) your auction up until someone actually bids on it.

All you need to do is login to your eBay, find the item for sale, click it and then select 'revise listing' (at the top). Scroll down until you get to the shipping section. From experience (and the weight of this item), $15 is more than enough for UPS Ground to pretty much anywhere in the US. Granted it might be 'on the bubble' or a little more than $15 to ship to the West Coast, but it's not like you're going to 'take a bath' on it.

I can also honestly tell you that with only 5 feedback (and not even 100%), you're going to have a hard time finding anyone willing to take your word for it that you'll refund their money after the fact (no matter how honest you are). I'm not saying it's impossible: you may find someone who doesn't care and will bid on it. But it's been my impression, that if you modify it now and make the shipping a little more equitable, you'd have an easier time finding a buyer.

Oh yeah and one more thing: the item you're quoting as comparrison at GameStop (for $80) is the WIRELESS Strat. Since yours is wired, you might also want to revise that. Last I checked, that one was slated to cost $60 when they start selling solo instruments.

For what it is worth - the wireless Strat for the PS3 in the shipping package is 7 pounds.

Thanks for the input and help on this. I revised the shipping to $15 and changed the cost comparison to gamestop.

I hope people dig into my rating and notice my only negative was back in 2001, I was in college and my PC died during my fledgling experience with ebay.
