Help with USB cord

Its not working when I plug in the guitar,singer or drums in the USB can anyone help me my aim is bigboss6692, or msg me or reply here please, thanks

1. I know it sounds stupid, but make sure the USB is plugged into a wall outlet :D

2. Pull instruments out and put them back in a second time, sometimes they'll register that way.

3. Plug instruments directly into X360 to make sure the hub isn't working properly and not the instruments.

4. Go to this website www.support.ea.com/rockband to see if you can order a new hub. I'm not sure if you can but just see if there is an option. I don't think so though.

5. Purchase a 2.0 hub yourself.

The USB hub comes with an AC adapter that you plug into the wall so it doesn't draw power and create more heat around the xbox360.

The USB hub supplied with Rock Band: Special Edition requires an external power source. "Plugging it in the wall" means plugging the AC adapter that came with the USB hub into a 110V AC source and the other end into the small white USB hub.
