I recently received my new guitar in the mail. I was wondering how you take the headstock off the old guitar, or if you do, when you mail it back? It seems like if I just pull on it breakage is very possible. I know it shouldn't matter being the strum bar is already busted but I don't want to jeopardize my $125.
Thanks!

No, it fits in the box with the head on. The only way to take it off is to take it apart..

You have the option to take it off by unscrewing it. But according to the EA support site, you can return it back without removing the headstock.

Its true. The instructions say that it will stick out of the box when you put it in there. But the guitar box goes inside ANOTHER box, so youre fine

EA doesn't trust people with screwdrivers and opposable thumbs, this only will infuriate them and cause them to cast evil spells of "Reason: Owner Abuse" on you! Don't do it. The more clueless you appear the more likely they will ship out the replacement no questions asked.
