I heard something like that but is it true? It would make sence if you think about the famous songs which are not in the game. If they make that songs as dlc(like let it be, hey jude or help) everybody would buy them but people will buy the game with these songs on it or not.

no, it isn't
They might, but it's far from certain

It's possible, but we probably won't know for a while (they don't want to promise anything that isn't 100% sure yet).

I hope so because there are certain songs i would ike to have as dlc and I think everyone has some songs they want.

Likely but not absolute.

I don't think all the earlier ones are necessary, especially considering all the different versions.
I definitely want to see Rubber Soul to Abbey Road, though, and that includes Magical Mystery Tour.

A Hard Day's Night and Help! are important albums!!

I think they will, most likely, but they're just saying they might not just to cover their bases in case something goes wrong or whatever and they can't. They still might not, though.

The earlier albums are definitely necessary. And what different versions? US vs UK? The game is following UK releases, so there are simply 5 albums, all with different songs.
I'd be very upset if there was little or no DLC from Please Please Me-Help!. They are just as important a part of the Beatles canon as the later albums.

I'm highly biased towards the later albums, but I didn't say we shouldn't get songs from the albums :(
Lets put it this way; if we could only get 5 Beatles albums, my personal choices would be Revolver, Sgt Peppers, White Album, Abbey Road, and either Rubber Soul or Magical Mystery Tour.
I definitely like their pop albums, just not as much :p
EDIT: I just noticed that Help! isn't in the game. Wha!?

Anyone want to bet how much The White Album would be? I'm guessing a full 1600 points. Either that or a good 2400 points. I'm hoping Abbey Road, Rubber Soul, and Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band are closer to 1200 points but... you never know. Probably closer to 1600 aswell.

Being a double album...I'd guess quite a bit. Probably Somewhere in the 2400-3200 range.

They may split it into 2 DLC's.

Makes sense. I'd be surprised if they didn't put it out though.

Which would be quite a shame.

Even Rev. #9? I don't know how that'd work except to give us something to watch.
They split the white album across 2 CD's and 4 sides, so being split across 2 DLC's would be ok for me. They'll all end up in the same hard drive. It would help spread new content out towards Xmas 2010, too. I'm assuming album DLC's will be monthly.

Would you really be hurting if you didn't get to play stuff like Mr. Moonlight?
I think they might release most of the from Rubber Soul on, but I assume they'd stick to the hits from the earlier albums and the bigger singles that weren't on albums.

They've said they don't expect to release every song from every single/album. I went ahead and let go of the notion a couple weeks ago. :)

MR. Moonlight is probably my second favorite cover(behind Twist And Shout).

Let's face it: sales of the later DLC is going to determine how much earlier DLC we see. If DLC sales are strong, I'm sure they'll move forward with as much DLC as they can. If weak (or game sales are weak), they may close up shop before getting to With the Beatles.

It'd be a nice break. Nothing but a acid trip dreamscape behind it.

Very true. I would suggest buying as much DLC as you can afford. If you want With The Beatles you may end up buying quite a few songs first.

I certainly hope they put all the songs in. Its not like we'll get them in another game:p
But all I care about is getting all of Magical Mystery Tour. Anything other than that is just bonus. But I want MMT. And a whole slew of singles like "Hey Jude" and "Rain".

And I tend to believe, aside from what we currently have confirmation on, the first batch of DLC will be a mix, maybe 5-7 songs they would have loved to see in the game.
These songs would span the early stuff, a cover maybe and then through to the later studio stuff. THEN, see what sells the best. I am just gonna buy it all...as will many others...I can't be the only one that prefers the earlier stuff(covers too). I know we are out numbered but I'll Pray that someone at HMX is in our corner.
