Third party controllers?

Since HMX is in favor of open standards, there would be no problem with a third party releasing Rock Band compatible controllers, would there? Hell, even Red Octane could do so if Activision wasn't completely insane!

Several reasons I bring this up: going to get my 3rd guitar controller soon and my 3rd drumset.

What happens after 60 days? EA better extend the hardware warranty if they want to keep some goodwill intact.

Im pretty sure they dont care about the 60 day thing. If you didnt notice, when you registered to get your replacements, nowhere did you give them a serial number or anything. How would they know when you bought the game?

maybe since we are still less than 60 days from the launch, they realize that every periphrial is less than 60 days old. Maybe they will start asking for receipts and what not after it has officially been 60 days since the Nov 20th release. Thats just my guess.

I'm pretty sure the 60 days resets every time they ship you a replacement. Otherwise they could simply "filibuster" for 60 days of sending you bricks in cardboard boxes until it was up.

If that's acceptable for any company, so's a brick through their damn window.
