I was just curious if anyone has had success with replacements? I got my replacement guitar today and its still very loosey and hard to play on expert, i can get 100% with gh2 controller, but the rb one's strum bar being is all weird and playing a long succession of notes perfectly is damn impossible. I heard about the replacements how some of them have a stronger strum bars that goes back to its original possition like the GH guitar. and also i have the double strum problem with this one. The reason i ask is im debating if i should send my replacement in for another replacement and hope for the best or just suck it up and stick with the gh2 guitar. i really want a working rockband guitar with the strumbar of the gh2 controller, i love the complex design, the bottom frets and the whammy an dswitch addition. I just want it to work ; ;
the design and new ideas in the stratocaster are amazing and new and i really wanna play with it, is there any hope of this at all?

I really don't know either.
I can FC almost every expert on the Xplorer , but put the strat in my hand and I doubt I'll FC anything.
The strum and Nuclear just don't get along.
I press hard, light, & I am very good at alt strumming, It just doesn't work for me.
Its a 4th gen to. I will always break a combo, where I know i'm strumming just fine.

Not me personally, but my friends guitar is perfect. The strum springs back to center when used, the buttons are very responsive and its overdrive works perfectly.
Mine, not so much, Im sending it back in about 2 days, for my 3rd guitar.

no Success here on my replacement guitar. after less than 2 hours of playing the guitar, it had a double strum problem or you had to strum up only. When I recieved my replacement it looked just like my old one and now spring back like some of you have recieved. I called up this time and requested for another replacement. this time they are taking 3-5 days now as well.
I would play with the guitar hero 2 controller , but I like the feel of the Rockband guitar so much more.
If i wanted to play with a GH controller i would just pop in a Guitar Hero game. After almost a month people are still having issues. This isn't a good experience thus far.
this is almost the same example as like a 360 console...... It's great when it works.:(

Well, I can't say I've had success with a replacement, as I haven't replaced mine yet. My out-of-the-box Strat has been pretty much functioning perfectly under very heavy use in the week and a half or so since I got it. Granted, the strum bar feels a bit squishier than when I took it out of the box, but it's still perfectly responsive. I dunno...if it was defective, shouldn't it have failed by now?

So far the replacements are working well.
They put a thin peice of foam tape behind the contacts to cut down on vibration and to act as a cushion and spacer.
So far so good, but fingers are still crossed.

I thought I was one of the lucky ones too, until yesterday. I got my RB on release day, Got the dreaded "double strum" now.

Yup, my out-of-the-box strat sucked, but the replacement I got works perfectly. I haven't opened it up to see what kind of strummer it has, but I know the first one was the metal contact one. The new one definitely feels different, pretty sure it's the magnetic one.
