I'm on my third guitar and the overdrive sensor doesnt work on it like the others, but at least it doesn't go off randomly. Strumming down is fine but up i have to push the strum bar all the way up to get it to activate, so doing those really fast parts is impossible. It's playable, but it's still unacceptable. When do you guys think they'll fix the damn overdrive sensor and get all the strum bars fine? I dont want to put another $120 hold on my card to get another messed up guitar. When do you guys think it will be safe to order another one?

Thanks to a shipping error by EA, I currently have a third and fourth controller in my possession, and I'm keeping both until I determine which one I prefer and whether both will continue working.

Both work very well. One has a touch to it that I like a little better, so that's the one I'm focusing on. After calibration, it's given me no problems.

It took me several tries to realize that the tilt sensor is a very different animal on these controllers: they don't respond well to sharp tilts, especially from horizontal to vertical, which is the method I've been using for Guitar Hero all along. In practice, I've found that a slowish tilt of about 45 degrees will consistently set it off, but how to get it to trigger exactly when you want it to is something you need to learn for yourself.

The biggest problem I see with this configuration is that "holy crap!" panic tilts intended to save your butt will rarely have the desired effect.

I see. Well, that's good to hear. I'm willing to adjust to a tilting like that. My current one even if i go slow and shake it and move it all over the place it wont go off until i give up and set it down, which is even more annoying. I'll guess i'll order another right now. Hope it's good.

Yeh I placed an exchange order for my 3rd guitar now, because the replacement I got, the strumbar messed up after 2 hours of playing it.

i see in some other post that some guitars have the springloaded strum they were talking about. does anybody seen these? sounds like an improvement to the guitar. i def. didn't get this one on my replacement though... that's for sure.
