View Full Version : Please Do Not Start Any More 45th Song Threads

While I would love for the mods to lock and sticky this, I'm a realist. But I beg those of you who read this before it's locked and dropped off the first page: please, please, PLEASE for the Love of Harrison do not start any more threads regarding the 45th song. It's all too much what we have now.
If you have an opinion on the 45th song, please find one of the other 45 threads on the topic and post in there. You do not need to start your own thread.
I hate doing this, because I typically resent wanna-be moderators, but this is too far out of hand now.
Thanks

Techincally I started a thread about the 45th song threads, not the 45th song itself which is the Ballad of John and Yoko, by the way
I knew someone was going to say that, so I left a trap out.

Hehe, and that subtle note isn't going to make "conspiracy theorists" flock to this thread for conversation on why you're wrong (or right)? :)

I'll admit to making one, but I just did to organize the evidence, and hopefully people will post there. :D

I suggest any discussion of Song 45 be in the rumours and facts thread where it is general discussion about the game anyways.
These threads are getting very tiresome.

Aren't they the same thing? All they are is an unending debate among the Enders, the Day in the Lifers, and the Hey Judenites, with the occasional Rainprayers.

Actually, you don't have the right. Read the forum rules. And to quote Law and Order: "It's a free country!" "No, it's a Democracy, and a majority of us don't like what you are doing"

Uhh, yes I do have the right. I'm discussing the game. Alot of us are. If you don't like what we're talking about, don't read it. Easy peasy.

There's a huge difference between discussion and spamming an opinion. And sadly "ignore thread" isn't an option in this forum.

Perhaps not, but it's an option in real life.

This thread is making it harder to find the real last song threads. Can people stop posting about stopping last song threads already?
;)

I love how the people most upset with this thread are the ones that unnecessarily created new threads.
Pro-discussion = keeping discussion in one centralized thread, so you can continue the discussion.
Pro-personal opinion = starting pointless new threads on the same topic just to make sure your opinion was first.
I will humbly end my comments in this thread, and ignore all the other ridiculous threads that people create to sate their own ego.

It's a healthy topic for discussion. As far as music game setlists go this certainly adds a bit of intrigue.
I just worry that there is so much hype that people are setting themselves up for disappointment if it isn't the song that they want.

That's because, as far as any moderator is concerned, it is in our rights to post :)
And it's in your rights to ignore them.
And while you don't have a "ignore thread" button, you have the capacity (at least I hope so) to ignore them.
And final word: what's the point in these forums even existing if you're just going to get upset about people posting their ideas?
Redundant, some of them, perhaps, but that's what these forums are all about.

I know I said I was done in this thread, but this I have to respond to:

ATF has already announced that they are prepared to storm the Hey Judenites compound on 9/9/09 to prevent a mass suicide.

Let's hope they all don't end up in the ash tray.

I have to say, creating names for the groups of people who expect the last song to be one thing or the other... is one of the dumbest trends I have ever seen in a forum. Certainly not in the top five dumbest, but I'd say it's in the top 10.

I never understood why people get so annyoed about threads in forums. I mean if it's something your not interested in then just pass it by. It takes more effort, on your part, to create an entire new thread to complain about one slight problem.

Dude, you started two threads on the same thing! Besides you were wrong both times. The final song is The End.
