Literally just played RB2 for the first time!

KMart had the Wii Rock Band2 Bundle on sale for $99. Figured, why not?

Ive never played a rhythm video game before, or a guitar for that matter.

wow, that was pretty fun! i played Man In The Box, Today, and Drain You.

The box says that there are 80 songs to choose from on the disk, but i only
saw 20 listed. Was that because i selected "Quick Play"?
i really want to play Tangled Up In Blue, amongst other songs.

Can anyone clue me in as to how i can play the other songs that they list
being on the disk?

Edited to add: The only reason that i joined this forum was for The Beatles, and the
only reason that i picked up RB2 was because i want to see how it is so when i get
TB:RB i know a little about whats going on. I did not mean for this to be "in the wrong forum"

You unlock the songs throughout career. Tangled up in Blue is towards the middle.. depending where you started.

Wrong section but to play all of the songs I think you can enter a cheat or if you can't you will have to play through band world tour and unlock all of the songs.

I only have Rock Band 1. I have Guitar Hero 2-4, when I saw Beatles Rock Band, I was upset at first that it wasn't Guitar Hero. I got GH: Aerosmith and while I like playing the songs, it dissapoints me, and I'm glad Beatles Rock Band isn't Guitar Hero: Beatles. Why? Because Guitar Hero games have music from different artists and would make the game crappy.

No, all songs will be available in Quickplay from the beginning.

All 45 songs on-disc in TB:RB will be playable in Quickplay from the start.

Anyway, good luck with unlocking songs, it's not too difficult to do.. The easiest to start off with (I'd say) is Vocals or Drums.. better start off with Vocals to train for TB: RB!

# Cheat mode

At the main menu, select the "Extras" option. Choose the "Modify Game" selection, then enter one of the following codes to unlock the corresponding cheat option. Enter the "Extras" menu to toggle a specific cheat on or off. Note: Enabling a code will prevent the game from being saved. Additionally, you cannot use the solo buttons on the neck of the Stratocaster to enter the codes.

Unlock All Songs

Press Red, Yellow, Blue, Red(2), Blue(2), Red, Yellow, Blue to unlock all songs.

The quickest way to unlock all the songs is to go to the challenges.

Start with your instrument of choice. Guitar, bass, drums, or mic, and do the easiest challenge with that instrument.

When you finish that challenge, it will open up more challenges for that instrument.

Just keep playing until you do all the instrument specific challenges and you'll have the songs unlocked.

It's a lot quicker than doing world tour, because a lot of the songs repeat in world tour.

Not saying World tour isn't fun, but if you're looking to do it fast, the challenges are your best bet :)

going for as cheap as possible, bought a usb mic and gh: aerosmith + guitar (actually cheaper than just the guitar hehehehe, but then again that game is awful)

now i just wonder where i can find some drums

Actually the drums brand new are almost 89.99 stand alone.

For $99.99 you can get the entire band set up of Rock Band 2, the RB2 drums, the RB2 strat and a mic.

Gamestop, best buy, wal-mart and K-mart, and Amazon are all doing this deal right now.
