Stupid Songs In the Game

Nope. HMX has had a thing of going with cool indie bands ever since the first GH game, so to a lot of us bands like Anarchy Club, Freezepop, and Bang Camaro are like old friends. Yeah, pretty much no one will know the songs upon picking up the game, but that's why they're bonus songs and not on the main setlist. And I personally think it's really cool that music games like Rock Band can introduce people to new music, and get them appreciating stuff they normally would never have listened to. (Example: I've never been a Bowie fan, but after playing RB I freakin' LOVE Suffragette City.)

Yeah, there's always gonna be some songs certain people in your group really hate, but such is life. That's why they went with a varied song list. Nobody's entirely happy, but nobody's entirely miserable either. Such is music games.

I'm sorry you feel that way about the bonus songs, but Acro-Brats = ownage. Day Late, Dollar Short = amazing.

If every song were super catchy Billboard top 5 songs, I'm not sure I'd like this game. I've grown to like a lot of songs I've never heard of in HMX games.

The main songs in the game were meant to cover a broad range of interests, which is why you see rock, alt, metal, etc. they aren't all AMAZING songs, but the great majority of them are fun to play. Of course, no one is gonna be 100% pleased...

The bonus songs are just that, bonus. you aren't necessarily supposed to recognize the bands or songs but they're a great... BONUS.

ps. Wave of Mutilation is the first song to come to mind when I think of The Pixies.

My all time favourite song on the GH games has to be Even Rats, and i would never have heard it if it hadn't been for GH.
