Yep, that's right. After being an avid member of these boards since the very start it's looking like I while finally have a copy of Rock Band.

Importing games is never a fun experience, but when that game weighs 20 pounds and comes in a box as big as a big midget/minuscule giant AND is experiencing massive product shortages, problems tend to be exacerbated.

But today I finally got an e-mail from Gamestop telling me my order has shipped. On the UPS site it says that my bundle has arrived in Victoria, Australia. Now I just need to wait for it to get to South Australia, then to me. I really wish it wasn't the weekend, I've been pushed to my limits when it comes to waiting for RB.

Now i just need to hope that A) my strat is in perfect working condition and will stay like that or B) that patch comes out sometime soon coz i cant get a replacement guitar anytime soon.

Yay for Nick! I just hope the same thing doesn't happen to you as did to me. My yellow drum went kaput...I have a so-so temp fix that makes it work 90% of the time...the other 10% i have to wail on it just to get it to recognize the hit. Of course, since it won't be release in Canada til next week, I'll have to wait til at least then to get it replaced.

But anyways, in short, minus the faulty drum pad...I made it through BWT and the Endless Setlist two days after I got the game with 3 buddies, (playing 14 hours each day certainly helped) and it was so incredibly fun I wish I could convince them all to do it again. :P Have fun with it Nicky, you'll love it. :D

Since when is importing a game to San Antonio a big deal?

Eh, You'll have to forgive beerman. His mind is too concerned with scoring with fat chicks and drinking until he losses all bodily functions.

Yay for Nick!

Unlocking The Hand That Feeds right away?

And if your strats faulty, you might as well use a strum fix mod, considering EA will just say "You should have waited to buy when we brought it to Australia!!!" or whatever they've said to Canadians :p

Glad you finally get to Rock Out. Hopefully by now you will get one of the better guitar so you have a better chance of it not breaking!

So it arrived today, about 5 hours ago. It's going great, no hardware issues yet.

Better get back to it!

Yeah, it's South Australia, not San Antonio. If i was in the US i wouldnt be making a big deal out of it, but I have a lot of obstacles importing this game and I've been waiting so damn long.

I've just hit the fan cap in the band world tour, my little sis and I have been playing on medium vocals and drums respectively now we're trying to build up our skills a little so we can continue. I managed to pass Maps on expert drums... that was pretty sweet.

Yeah, Ive got a PS3.

While I'm here i'll update by saying its all going awesomely. I've moved onto hard drums, and have completed about 3/4 of the songs on that. Just got the jet in BWT with my bro and most importantly all the peripherals are still working 100%. Booyah...
