Found out they are getting a Rolling Stones 5 pack on 9/3 and Band Hero has TWO Doors songs on disc. SMH...I want them in Rock Band! We are way overdue for some Stones DLC.

I hope those songs are enough to tide over GH fans for a couple of months seeing as they'll get nothing else for a long while.

Thinking that this somehow confirms any exclusivity is jumping the gun a bit. For all you know, we could get The Doors and the Stones next week. Just pointing that out.

You know what this means Rolling stones are done with the label switching crap to UMG from EMI and hmx will be able to release sastifaction and brown sugar. I would give it time though because guitar hero wasn't able to get the license soon enough for smash hits.
Also I doubt The end is in band hero, I need more confirmation then a post in a xbox live forum.

Edit: Although the fact of some really good songs, there seems to be a lot of crap and RB-peats. Like, Spice Girls will be on it and three Taylor Swift songs.

...Why's everyone acting like GH is the world's biggest sin? It's solid, though not quite as good in terms of music as Rock Band, because WE have X Japan. However, they DO have some genuinely fun songs, and they seem to have ditched the overcharting. Sadly, they swapped it for UNDERcharting.

Still, I plan to get both GH5 and Lego:RB. I hate taking sides.

The songs GH is releasing are controlled by ABKCO, who owns the rights to all the Stones music from the 60's up to Let It Bleed and I think jointly owns the rights to Sticky Fingers-era with the Stones themselves. The label switch only affected their music from Sticky Fingers on, so this DLC (including Satisfaction) could have been licensed at any time and makes it all the more frustrating that Rock band has no Stones DLC, because they could have picked anything from their 60's catalog

I don't see a link anywhere for The Doors, and I refuse to believe that The End would be chosen for Band Hero over songs like Hello, I Love You or even Light My Fire. I also would wonder why they are only on Band Hero and not GH5. They're not exactly a kid-friendly type of band.

As for the Stones, they're alright song choices for the period. There are other live tracks I would have much preferred from the same year.
