devect in strum bar?

Ok so here's the thing. When i strum down i miss the note every time and when i strum up I hit the note evertime...But its only in medium,hard and expert modes. Is my guitar defective or what? It really gets annoying when there is a bunch of notes coming at me and i miss half of them cause I miss them when I strum Down.


Does anyone have an answer?
