Songs by HMX?

I apologize if this has been brought up before but I couldn't find a thread about it.

From what I've read/heard, Harmonix is made up of mostly musicians. How about releasing some DLC of original Harmonix songs created specifically for the game? I thought it would be an interesting experiment to create a song backwards, so to speak.

Start out by thinking of it from the direction of, "what would make the drums, vocals, guitar, and bass all really fun while still keeping a good song?" I just thought this would be interesting as well as a way for the guys at Harmonix to get some originals out there. I'm sure many people would purchase mp3s also if the songs were enjoyable.

They do have songs in both Guitar Hero I and II and in Rock Band... You may remember them named as Freezepop, (many come from Freezepop) which is a band led by Harmonix Audio Director: Kasson Crooker.

In Guitar Hero II the band Vagiant debuted with RTK (Rock The Kells originally FTK but censored because F stood for that 4 letter word, FAUK) and in Rock Band they have the song Seven (which I personally think is an awesome song). Vagiant is an all girl group and they have one of the game's producers, Helen McWilliams, in the band. I'm not sure if more employees have their own band which may have been featured before or in Rock Band.
