What do you think? Do your favourite bands have songs that you just can't stand? For me:
I Walk Beside You - Dream Theater (really lame)
Trampled Under Foot - Led Zeppelin (really annoying)
Most of Audioslave's last album.
Pulk/Pull Revolving Doors - Radiohead
Steelerfreak1977

I'll throw an obvious one out there.
"Quest for Fire" by Iron Maiden.

Ayreon has a couple, fortunately in B-sides/Hidden tracks that I can pretend don't exist.
BRMC gets a bit more flak, they have their entire "noise" album Effects of 333 that I can't stand.

Really should be ALBUMS you hate by bands you love. If that were the case, then:
Octovarium - Dream Theater
Systematic Chaos - Dream Theater
Saint Anger - Metallica
Death Magnetic - Metallica
There are probably more but those albums always stick in my mind. Its always worse when a good band make a bad album. You at least expect something good. The disappointment just adds to the anger

You can include albums if you want.
Some more:
You Not Me - Dream Theater
The Show Must Go On and We Are the Champions - Queen. Pretty much any really played-to-death Queen song I find annoying.

Liz Phair - "H.W.C."
Modest Mouse - "Ocean Breathes Salty"
Queens Of The Stone Age - "Suture Up Your Future"
The Dudes - "Mom 100"
I could go on for quite a while.

My first choice would be Mama Said by Metallica. They don't do country rock, and they really shouldn't. When they do, it turns out like Mama Said.

No Doubt - About half of Rock Steady. It was just weird sometimes
Mötley Crüe - Glitter, just because it's annoyingly catchy. It's a bit boring though.
Aerosmith - I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing. It's nowhere near their best song, and doesn't deserve the amount of publicity (if thats the right word) that it has. When you say Aerosmith to someone, its always the first song they suggest.
Swivle

Really? I really like the title track, along with Moth and maybe a few others, but it really lacks energy I think. I'm glad someone likes it though:p

Odd, I remember you being quite fond of this song. :)
I don't hate it but Tom Sawyer has always been my least favorite Rush song. I don't like people claiming it's their best song, I call bull ****, in my opinion they can and have done so much better than that song. The song is decent, but meh.

Nope , never been a fan of that one. Really wish he'd retire it from the live set. I should clarify however that I did think it was cool to have the guitar solo done by Joe Satriani and Steve Vai, that was huge when it was first released.
Agreed on Tom Sawyer, don't hate it by any stretch but it's pretty tried for me.

Beck - Diamond Dogs (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2bD-jrh8V1s)
The only Beck song I can actually say that I don't like. I just have to ask myself what the hell he was thinking when he decided to do this. It's absolutely horrible, probably due to the fact that it was produced by Timbaland. To add insult to injury, it was actually good when David Bowie did it, and Beck's other covers are generally good, but this one is just bad. Really bad.

Really, of all Deep Purple songs, that? Why not Hungry Daze, Gypsy, Maybe I'm a Leo, The entire House of Blue Light album, or One Man's Meat?
But the king of all bad Deep Purple songs, Painted Horse, that intro riff could have been the next Smoke on the Water and they made some horrible western themed song with horrible singing.

All I've got are mainstream bands:
Boston - Amanda (Just a lackluster song, coming from my favorite arena rock band. It's just disappointing)
Led Zeppelin - The Song Remains the Same (For the record, I'm talking about the song. It would have been decent, except that Plant's voice in unbearable in this track)
Van Halen - The lesser-known half of 1984 (Just completely forgettable. Just about every song on the album that was not a single feels half-assed)

Metallica: Anything from St. Anger, if I had to choose....Shoot Me Again
System of a Down: Jet Pilot, 36, Lonely Day

I really hate anything SOAD does that has only Daron singing (or it has Daron mainly singing). I hate Daron. I hate his singing. I hate it so much.

His back-up singing is fine. I just don't like anything that has him either singing completely, or mainly singing.

 That might've been one of the songs that made me start hating his singing. At least, being lead. I think that song would've been better with Serj singing lead.

I'll have to disagree on that one, I thought that song was Daron's best spotlight performance. When he sings backup to Serj, like most of the time, he's annoying to me, but when he has the entire stage to himself, he has some vocal ability, he's not great, but he has some talent and a whole lot of originality.
Put it this way, he's not no Freddie Mercury :p

I disagree, I don't think he has any ability at all. I can't stand his singing at all. And I actually used to like it. There are songs where he sounds completely horrible, and then there are songs where he sounds "meh."
That is one of his meh songs for sure.

Here's my simple way of seeing it:
Serj singing: Awesome(most of the time)
Serj and Daron harmonizing: Pretty good
Daron alone: God awful
His voice is just way too whiny and high pitched. He should just stick to writing guitar riffs and stay away from the mic.

I never really liked "Lithium" by Nirvana; at least not the Nevermind version. It's too polished for me. Ironically, that song is one of my favorites from the Live at Reading album. I also think "No One Else" should burn in a pit of fire. It's the only bad song on The Blue Album, which is otherwise an amazing album. And don't get me started on "Can't Stop Partying"....ugh. Rest in peace, 90s Weezer.

Next Stop, Atro City by Lostprophets. Love the band, that song annoys me to no end.
Also, most songs from Start Something. Good songs, but they just rip off some good bands. (eg. We Still Kill The Old Way = Pearl Jam, Burn Burn = Linkin Park + Adamski)
