I've seen a bunch of custom guitars (using the logo/tattoo editor) in the "post your pic" thread but I haven't found where to do it in the game. Is it an option when selecting a guitar that I'm missing?

When you go to the guitar that you are using under instruments the yellow fret button will allow you to add art to your ax

Aahh... so obnoxiously obvious! Here I was looking for a menu option ;)

Thanks!

I totally forgot I could do that (I spend most of my time using my singer and remember coming across where I could add art to the mic (though thats pretty lame adding art to the mic...).

I actually thought this thread was about customizing the controller guitar with those plates and stuff you see in the stores. I happen to have my own alternative to that.
My old man is an artist and works at a screenprinting/decal shop and is a HUGE guitar player/music-instrument afficianato (<---sounded that one out). So I went to him and asked him if he could reproduce the faces/and artwork of famous guitars for us so we could apply it to our (my friends and I) fake guitars. He said yes and told us we could even create our own art with high quality digital photos and photoshop work. I hit him up for Van Halens Frankenstien artwork first and am currently using one that I made that looks like I'm pressing my face on it trying to get out. They are removable/reuseable too. He even cut some SRV decals used with the same material and fonts Stevie Ray Vaughn used on his guitars. Kinda adds to the fun and show of the guitar games.

Awww, I've got one of my singers' name written lengthways on the mic in the gothic font. It doesn't look too bad.
