There are plenty of bands who do not provide their music for last.fm to stream. Some don't even provide 30 second samples.

Not true. Many bands don't even have samples up. It's more of a place to interact with music fans as a whole.

I think they have weekly maintaince. I think it was down this time last week too.

It was only down for like 10-15 minutes for me, so no biggie. Doesn't affect the sex that is my charts. :)
