Yes, Activision is . . . for lack of a better word, but trying to be somewhat nice, crappy.
Now, a lot of people have mentioned <a href="http://community.rockband.com/vbforum/showthread.php?t=15440&page=2" target="new">contacting</a> Activision to let them know how much the gaming community hates this, and about this leading to Boycotting them (I am all for this, btw). But I didn't see anyone mention contacting Blizzard. Yes, I saw a few people mention that Act and Blizz are merging, but nothing about contacting them.
Well, I took a step towards that. I contacted them (sales@blizzard.com) to let them know how I felt about the situation, and that if they merge and the patch still hasn't gone through, then I will be boycotting Blizz as well. As a WoW player with multiple accounts, I'm hoping that this gets through to them.
Anyways, that's my two cents. Hopefully it will be more like 2 (million) dollars to Act and possibly Blizz. As I told them, this is a gaming community, and what is good for the CUSTOMER is good for the company.
