I see the same cities promoted through most of the music genres. And to be honest it really does get old. What about adding some of the better known outdoor arenas? Alpine Valley Music Theater in East Troy, WI is one that comes to mind. What about The Tweeter Center just outside of Chicago? Stadiums? Sure why not. Hosting halftime at the Super Bowl would be different and probably enjoyable. I'm sure there are other places that would make the game better. Lets get them posted!

I would pay money for a download that allowed me to play in the Whiskey A Go-Go (http://www.whiskyagogo.com/).

I can go along with Chicago, but I doubt most people are going to get psyched about playing in "East Troy, Michigan." ;)

Absolutely there are a lot of untapped posibilities for venues in games, and no doubt we'll see more varied ones for RB in the future, either in a sequel or as downloadables way down the road. But I would expect them to remain as big cities--Chicago, Detroit, Nashville, Austin, etc.

There's also a sticky-thread for suggestions here: http://community.rockband.com/vbforum/showthread.php?t=15057

I would love to see some outdoor venues and tours. A crazy modern Woodstock, for example. Actually, this is one thing I think GH3 did right. They really maintained that crazy venue feeling from GH1 and 2, I think. I mean Hell was a little over the top. And the Video shoot was lame. But the venues were definitely a highlight of the game.

Hrm, thinking twice, it might be the highlight of that game. Like... The only one... Other then beating Satan, I guess.

Shea Stadium would have been sweet.

They had good cutscenes. Short, but really sweet in my opinion.
