I don't know if this fits, here, but HELP! (Xbox Live)

I get an Xbox Live connection by plugging the ethernet cord into my computer. It usually works fine. I'm getting a wireless connection on my computer so that's fine. However, today, I couldn't go online on my Xbox for some reason. On my computer, it says it's only getting a local connection. Also, on the Xbox connection screen thing, I set things back to their factory defaults, and then started to connect from scratch as if I first got my Xbox. Still nothing. Any help? Suggestions?

I cant really help you but I run my xbox wirelessly and on random occasions it will bug out and not connect. It normally fixes itself in a few hours.

I get the same thing...

Best thing to do when you're impatient is to reset your wireless router and modem, then unplug the ethernet cord from your 360. Then plug the router and modem in, then ethernet cord.

Is it bad that I reset the things on the Xbox to "factory defaults"? Because, I didn't really notice any of the numbers changing and don't remember typing anything in the first time.
