Ok, so I have seen all that IGN,Gamespot,G4,and Gametrailers had to offer. I have also seen the 'Wanted dead or alive' singalong on Youtube. Anybody have any other good videos that I might have missed.
Thanks guys.

I assume you've seen the original leak of Welcome to the Jungle. If you haven't, although the song's not even in the game anymore, it's worth a watch (I love the rock out part at the end).

Ya, I saw that too. Sucks that song isn't there anymore?! I hope we got some other Gn'R songs.

It's in GHIII now, so that pretty much guarantees it won't be in Rock Band.

The only one you might not have seen is the short clips of IGN hands on with Rock Band, it just has a few seconds of the three songs they played when they got to test it out, it isn't much, but it is kinda cool

As much as we would all love more gameplay videos, its probably gonna be a little while before we get anything new, I mean we learned so much at E3 and saw tons of footage

From what I heard, Enter Sandman wasn't on the demo disc so you won't see any videos of it.

Correct, it wasn't even on the disc. The only songs that got played in full were Suffragette City, Main Offender, Wanted Dead or Alive and Paranoid.

I still think the Welcome to the Jungle vid is the best so far. Sadly there isn't much out there.

Why does that exclude it from Rock Band? I'm still hoping :(

I was hoping that maybe some dude got footage at e3 and just hasn't had time to put it on the net yet....
I really want to see a video of the EA press conference where Alex talked.

Suffrage city?! NO way!

Yea, Suffragette City has been shown time and time again. So far the videos I've seen have shown:
Welcome to the Jungle (which probably has been cut from the game)
Wanted: Dead or Alive by Bon Jovi
Suffragette City by David Bowie
Main Offender by The Hives
But yea, has anyone seen videos of other songs?

There's one of Paranoid by Black Sabbath.

Because Slash signed a deal with Activision for the GNR songs to be used for GH as well as himself being in the game i would assume that Velvet revolver songs would be GH only as well.. just as Harmonix signed a deal with Metallica for Rock band.

I'd say it excludes it from being an included song simply because it makes sense to avoid overlapping content. It certainly doesn't mean it cannot come along later as DLC, or that a different GnR song won't be one of the on disc songs.

Slash signed a deal with Activision for GNR to be used for Guitar hero, that's why Welcome to the Jungle was removed from Rock band you wont see GNR for rock band not until the Activision deal expires which could be for a while.

Do you have a link please? :D And is it of people actually playing? And not just a video of the screen? I wanna see more variations of the fills and such, like the ending of Welcome to the Jungle. I don't think I've seen anything like that in the other vids.

Slash doesn't own GnR or the music they made. The record label does. His deal is only to provide some original content specifically for GH3.

I don't think Slash can make it exclusive. Axl Rose owns the rights to the GNR name and basically dictates how the band can be licensed. Slash and Velvet Revolver are definitely possible exclusives to Guitar Hero 3, but I'm not too sure about GNR or Welcome To The Jungle. If anyone has watched the Behind The Music on GNR, Slash, Duff and Sorum all said that they had to sign over the rights to the GNR name or Axl wouldn't continue with the band. So if that works the way I think it would, Axl would decide if a song can be used, not Slash. I could be wrong on exclusivity, but I do know that Axl owns the rights to GNR.
I'd rather see You Could Be Mine anyway, but that's just me XD.

The name Guns N Roses was signed over not the tracks hence why Velvet revolver can play GNR songs at gigs, like Mr Brownstone and It's so easy at this years Download festival.

I knew something was signed over. I've watched that episode several times and remember them talking about signing something to get Axl to show up. I think we all know how that worked anyway...

id just like to point out that because a band plays a song live has nothing to do with their "rights" to a song, ive seen TONS of songs played live that were covers of stuff, machine head does their own side band they call ten ton hammer where all they do is play covers. but i do know that axl has at least a say in the rights to songs cause hes been difficult in letting GNR songs out for companies to use in products and the like over the years
