So I know when you use the solo buttons you just have to push them to hit a note with no need to strum, but what about when the notes just start repeating and you have to tremolo strum? Like in Highway star, after the rapid 3 not streaks the part comes up where you have to hold green and than it alternates between different buttons as you play on. Do you just hold the button and it still strums for you, or do the solo buttons only work like a normal controller, where when you push the button it counts as a strum?

I knew what I was saying was confusing, I couldn't find any other way to explain, but since that is the answer than thank you very much.

1 more question though, if I push the button the solo button randomly, will it count as a missed note. And what if I push a solo button outside of a solo, anything happen?

I don't think it counts as a missed note, but I could be completely wrong on that (Mine is currently somewhere in a UPS truck), but I do know that outside of a solo they work exactly like the regular frets (As in you push it down and strum)...

I'm pretty sure hitting the solo buttons at the wrong time during a solo is an incorrect extra note, like if you strum at the wrong time. Pushing a solo button outside of a solo is the same as pushing that colored fret button. You can play the entire song with the solo buttons- you just have to strum when it's not a solo.
