if your're handy with a soldering iron you might be able to re-attach the disconnected wire inside your drum.
but anyone is better with a soldering iron than the yahoo's that made the drums!
my 4th kit just broke today!
this is ridiculous. whoever designed the drum kit should be fired, because last time i checked when someone does a poor job over and over again they have to suffer some sort of consequence.
this kit happens to be my longest running kit due to the fact i performed multiple internal and external repairs.
my kick pedal is more duct tape than plastic at this point due to the many cracks and breaks in the pedal and base.
i'm not sure which generation the kit is currently in, but i know for a fact that it's too far along to be having this many problems!
let's look at this logically
you're making a controller that requires the player to HIT IT WITH TWO PIECES OF WOOD!
maybe you should make the kit strong enough so that it can survive someone HITTING IT WITH TWO F***ING PIECES OF WOOD!
same goes for the kick pedal
i, as a player, WILL BE STOMPING THE KICK MANY MANY TIMES EVERY SONG I PLAY!
stop being so damn cheap and GIVE ME QUALITY!
I've been a loyal customer since guitar hero 1
i bought GH2
then when the split happened, i bought RB1
it was so great to finally play drums.
my kit breaks,
i buy a new one,
breaks again,
buy a new one again.
RB2 comes out and i think "maybe they fixed the drums finally"
my kit breaks
so i buy another one and vow to keep it alive for as long as i can
using duct tape and electrical tape i keep that Frankenstein of a kit running until today.
i have Beatles RB reserved and i am anticipating it greatly
i will buy your ringo kit
but please PLEASE PLEASE stop sh**ing on your loyal customers
I've purchased somewhere over 200 songs from you and plan to buy every Beatles song you release
not to mention the guitars, i'm only one my second one but i've had to open that up too and fiddle with the insides.
it's surprising that MadKatz, a company notorious for it's faulty products, has made the only rockband peripheral (the cymbals) that is still in one piece and works great.
