Linkin Park, the Used, and Mastadon? Unknown European bands? "We Three Kings"?
Its just my personal preference, but that blows. And they're sticking with keeping the 3 packs inseparable. I'm so glad I have Rock Band so I have somewhere else to go for my downloadable songs. Weezer, Radiohead, the Who, Grateful Dead, Nirvana, goddamn.. I can't wait

An iTunes song is 99 cents to download. You're paying for the ability to play it on 4 different instruments and the tracks that they've written for it. It's not a bad price.

Wow. I don't know if they could have picked a worse DLC pack for GH3.

After RB steps up with influential bands such as CCR, Metallica, The Police, Bowie, The Clash, The Ramone, Black Sabbath and The Pretenders, GH3 lays a goose egg.

I have not played GH3 since RB came out and this DECREASES my desire to play GH3.

Judging from what I've read on here, Score Hero, and the official forum, I might be the only person alive today who is really really excited that they put Linkin Park in there. And my favorite song of their's no less.

As a huge fan of the band, that's the only song that is even close to Guitar Hero worthy (besides Qwerty maybe)

Bold # 1 = Thats the Beauty of DLC, i hate when people complain about that, its there for the people who want it, to download it. if you dont like it DONT DOWNLOAD IT!!

Bold # 2 = Im the Second Person Alive who is Excited for this. LP FTW!!! (LP fan since 2001)

Bold # 3 = From Hybrid Theory and Meteora, no theres no song thats worthy to go on GH (rock band maybe, but not GH) because Joe does soo much more with those 2 albums than he does with M2M, so it works out. Giving Up and Bleed It out would be perfect for Rock Band though, and GH.

Yeah, I totally agree, LP is definitely a better band for Rock Band. Rob's always been a great drummer.

A Place for My Head might be fun. And Somewhere I Belong's drum pattern sounds like it could be pretty complicated, in the choruses especially.

And Given Up would be great too for GH. I don't know if you've seen the custom of it on YouTube, but I made it. So I obviously thought it would be a good fit.

The worst part about the GH3 pack is they bundled LP with two lessor bands IMO.

And you have to buy all three; you cannot buy individual tracks like on RB.

OMG if they put a linkin park song in RB i'd play that over and over and over and over and over and over.. and over, until i was like 100% expert on that. i wish i woulda gotten GH3 now, much better songs on there.. its just RB is so much more fun game wise. 4 players, rockin out, yup yup. i hope they follow near the same kinda line up in RB :)

In my opinion outdoes every single song on RBs disc and every single crum of RB DLC

This is HUGE for me I love the used

I have a the used T shirt (Cept I grew so I gave it away to that charity donation thing) and I have the CD that song is on sitting right in front of my face

I've been listening to the used basically since they managed to get on Fuse with their 1st album

And I think Pretty handsome awkward has especially some of the best guitar they have ever really done

So this is the best DLC ever for me

GH2 has that Atreyu , Trivium , and protest the hero DLC pack... but I don't have GH2 for Xbox 360... that imo is the best DLC ever made in the history of these game series

Anyway

The linkin park and Mastodon songs dissapoint me but The used makes the pack completely worth it for me :D

Like mentioned Linkin Park has solid vocals and drums.

Nothing personal to Linkin Park but there are bands just so much more epic and worth our time though. I mean why have fast food when you can get mom's home cooking?

"We Three Kings" is the only free song.

And the pack with the established artists has to be bought as a pack, not separately like on RB.

That is lame, and they made an odd choice of a Linkin Park song. Plus, if they are including Reprise artists, Hello? Green Day? But than again I would rather Green Day in Rock Band anyway.
