me and some friends took the day off from work to finish up the endless setlist. we've been playing for 4 hours and are on 56 of 58 songs. and the ps3 is now sitting at the screen showing our stats for the last song! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD SOMEONE GIVE ME SUGGESTIONS ON HOW TO FIX THIS!

Could you provide me with a little more information? What did you have plugged in? Any special circumstances at the end of the song you had finished, or anything else you can think of? Console freezes are pretty rare but can happen. Sorry to hear about your trouble!

Wow. I'm glad this hasn't happened to me in the endless setlist. But I did have my first freeze on the PS3 a few nights ago. We had 4 players going and it was during the big band finish that my guitar player accidentally hit the Playstation button on his guitar instead of the last note. This brought up the PS menu which he then canceled out of and the game resumed and we of course didn't get the big finish bonus. As the next song in the setlist was loading, the game stayed at the same screen as you see above. Just inbetween songs.

Wow. That totally blows. Especially after getting the absolute worst song in the game out of the way.

Don't have a solution for you, sorry... don't own a PS3. But just outta curiosity, what difficulty were you playing on?

Every instrument was plugged in (2 guitars, mic, drums).

If I remember correctly I think we were trying to pause the game. We had just tired out our drummer with that song. =) So somewhere between pausing and then trying to restart, we confused the hell out of the game.

Just in case it happens to anyone else, tho, you'll be happy to hear that it did update the scores for all of our other songs, so it wasn't a total waste of time. Unfortunately we didn't get the stars or the money, but at least we got some satisfaction out of seeing our scores posted.

And to the one that asked, we were attempting to just power through the setlist. So we played at the levels we knew we were absolutely comfortable with without killing ourselves. =) So bass was hard cuz he's crazy (he was also singing), everyone else was on medium. I can't play the harder songs on hard, and failure was not an option. We like fans. ;)

Wish us luck for the next time we attempt the setlist (if we can convince our drummer that his calf muscle really did enjoy the experience!). Hopefully next time we'll get to proudly display 58 of 58 instead.
