Downloaded songs...unplayable?

I have a slight problem...

I just recently downloaded the songs on X-box live that I liked...payed for them and everything. The next day, when my friends came over to play the new songs...the songs I downloaded aren't there, but they are in my hardrive. Help?

Make sure you're signed into the Profile that downloaded/paid for them.

I had a problem similar to this with my GH3 download packs they were never there unless I was signed in to Xbox Live

I know I have a PS3, but once I downloaded the songs, I had to go to the file and had to install them after they downloaded. It took seconds. I'm not familiar with Xbox, but see if there is a place where the file downloaded, and then see if you can install the song.

I did that too, but for some wierd reason I couldn't find it. Do I have to sign onto X-box live to receive the songs I just downloaded?

Be logged into the profile that bought the song packs and that should work. If not, make sure you are connected to Xbox Live and on that profile. Are you sure the songs finished downloading or was it possible the transfer was interupted?

If all else fails, try to re-download them but make sure not to pay again.

They should always be available for all users on the original system they were purchased and downloaded to. If you are on a different system than the one you were using when you originally bought them, then you will need to recover your gamertag and be logged onto live to see them.

You shouldn't have to, but did you ever recover your gamer tag? Install a profile that was made on one console, and transfered it over to another console? If so, then you do need to be online. It's a Microsoft thing.

A similar thing happened to me last night. I bought a 4000 points card and downloaded EVERY song. Entered the game on the same profile, still connected to live. Everything was there apart from My Sharona. In the marketplace menu, it had a tick next to it. I had to re-pay and re-download and it worked.

Hmmm.... I wonder if its because you downloaded all the songs at once and Xbox Live got a hiccup which caused My Sharona to not download properly. Do the math and see if you actually did have to pay for it twice. Let me know what you find. Thanks.
