He didn't mean "waste" as an insult to PS3. Just as in he doesn't have $350 to spend on non-essential goods.

Games are so expensive. When I first started gaming, games were like $30 new O_o

Well, you could buy all they multi platforms on 360(Ark-ham asylum being the exception.) The thes best exclusives on Ps3. MAYBE 30$more a month.

Technicaly, the Slim didnt release early, sony said they will be avalibe by the first week of September. Also, today i saw an old 80GB PS3 for $250, but i wont tell where :p

Eh that is why I rock the Gamefly now. Can't afford to take a chance on a game that is crap.

I was thinking about buying this, then I realized most of the games I wanted for it are already out on 360. I am a huge Sony fanboy, actually. Whenever I am in need of something electronic I always look and see if Sony sells it. But when my money is tight, I just don't need it. However, I will be selling my DS Lite and PSP for a DSi thanks to the SDHC/music support.

Yeah, I'm the same way. Sometimes I kind of feel like I wasted money on my 360, cause there are too few exclusives for it that make me drool. Alan Wake might be an exception, and I don't think I'll buy Mass Effect 2 until its dirt cheap. Dragon Age will be a far superior RPG and FF XIII is coming so soon I can taste it.

I read somewhere that someone who got the slim early confirmed it did not have the new firmware.
