Strum bar stuck inside guitar.

I have this weird problem where half of the strum bar has literally fallen into the base of the guitar. I have been babying the strum bar, and everyone else that has been over playing it has as well. Short of someone breaking into my house and intentionally breaking my strum bar, I can't see how it happened. Has this happened to anyone else? And do you know if EA will charge the $125 to have it replaced? I already had it RMA'd before this happened because it was double strumming/not registering. Anyone have any advice or any ideas (short of hitting it against the wall as hard as you can) of how this possiably happened? Thanks a lot. And I wish you all the best on your RMA attempts.

While this is a really rare issue, I believe it is part and parcel with early model failures. The replacement you receive will have a modified strum bar that should prevent this from happening.

take the back off and see if one of the screws came loose holding the strummer in place.
