Okay, so here's the deal. I play RB2 on the Wii. I recently ran out of space on my SD card. I can't for the life of me figure out how to go in, delete songs I rarely play from my SD card and replace them with songs we play all the time. I'm only about 5 or 6 songs over the SD card's capacity. I recently bought a new SD card and spent like 3 hours downloading my songs on to it, I don't want to have to go through that again lol.

When I go into my SD card from my Wii menu, all of the blocks look empty. I don't know if my computer has like, a slot or something for me to put the card in and format. =(

So basically, how do I get rid of songs I can do without right now, and how do I, down the line, remove those and add different ones?

Thank you!

I have (and do still) that same issue. The only thing I can think of is to go to the music store in the game and select the songs that you have downloaded. There should be an option to delete the song. It should then say, at the song list, that you have purchased the song instead of downloaded. I did this the other day and was able to put a couple more songs onto the SD card. I just deleted the free songs I could remember. Wish they would some how make this game SDHC compatible.

They can't make it SDHC compatiable, Nintendo doesn't allow developers to patch games.

Here is a workaround for using a 4 gig non-SDHC card. That's what I use, holds a little less than 200 songs.

And yes, after you download a song in the music store, one of the options for that song becomes "Delete". If you delete it, it changes to "Download Again". It will show purchased rather than downloaded as the songs status on the full music store list.

Not exactly that easy. I have the same issue from this last DLC. I downloaded one too many songs and it told me, "could not backup to SD" . My issue, I started up rock band again and now it says 1)Backing up Janis Joplin 2)Not enough free space to backup 3)disabling SD card mode No!!! I can't go in and delete songs since I am not in SD mode. It only says "Purchased" for all of the old DLC songs. It usually says "Downloaded" and when I click on them they can be deleted. Since I went one song over how can I fix this?

Again, everytime I start rockband it trys to back up that Janis Joplin song, thus disabling SD mode. Arg!!!!

Oh, P.S. I will NOT reformat and redownload every song. That'll take hours if not days at my WiFi speed!
