So forgive my ignorance on this, because I've never actually played a RB game on the Wii, only on PS3. Will the Wii version have all the same DLC as the 360 and PS3 versions?
I'm considering getting this for my girlfriend, who is a HUGE Beatles buff, but we only have a Wii. I want to get her the game, but if the DLC isn't going to be available, I'll wait until after Christmas sometime when we get around to getting another console.
Also, are there any other known differences, other than graphics, between the Wii version and the other versions?
Thanks!

Wii will get DLC, and there's nothing to suggest it'll be on a different release schedule from the other consoles. We've received word that you won't be able to buy albums, just individual tracks (this is a current issue in RB2), however, that was before GH5 announced that you will be able to buy albums, so it's possible that could change before Abbey Road is released.
As far as we know, there are no content differences between the Wii and 360/PS3versions.

I have Rock Band for the Wii and love it. But wait to see if you can download dreamscapes for Wii like on other consoles and how much space they will take up. If space will be an issue, get the XBOX. But hopefully, there will be no need if you'd rather not.
As far as albums go, I've not really missed it. the amount of money you would save with the packages is fairly meager overall.

It's a "timed" exclusive from 9/9/09 to December 9, 09 (don't want to confuse any European readers of this forum by saying 12/9/09) for the 360. Whether or not it's available immediately on the 10th for the PS3 and Wii we don't know.

According to HMXSean, he was told that SDHC support exists for TB:RB, although we don't know if it's full 32GB support.
A 2GB card typically holds 70-80; however, it is unknown how large the Beatles files are going to be; they may be substantially larger due to the inclusion of Dreamscapes.
My current recommendation is not to buy any SD or SDHC cards until we have more details. The first DLC isn't due until mid-late October (unless we get some unannounced singles beforehand) and at that point we should have a clearer picture.

Excuse my ignorance also, but when people say dreamscapes, do they just mean the animated sequence that accompanies the song? Presumably if the other systems will allow you to download appropriate dreamscapes for new songs, then the Wii will also?
And, what is the benefit of downloading whole albums? Is it purely that if you buy, say, all the Abbey Road songs in an album, you'll save money over buying them as separate tracks i.e. Wii users will have to spend more to download all the Abbey Road tracks?
Many thanks.

Dreamscapes are the animations that accompany the songs from the studio era. Presumably, the Wii, like the 360 and PS3, will have unique dreamscapes for each studio era DLC song released.
Generally, the only advantage of buying an album as a whole is a discount (buying the album generally saves the equivalent of two songs or so on the cost of buying all the songs individually). The Abbey Road album is different, though. It has been confirmed that, by buying the album, the B-side medley becomes playable as one continuous track in-game. No-one knows if this feature will be available on the Wii, because there are no album sales for TB:RB on the Wii.

What? Wow. i can't get the melody. darn it! So, if i buy every track from abbey road, sgt peppers, and rubber soul, I'll spend $12 more than someone with an xbox? why can't the wii buy albums?

It used to be because of an issue in the Nintendo store where you could buy albums/packs OR singles but not both. GH5 somehow has figured out a way around the issue, so now fingers are crossed that TB:RB will figure it out before Abbey Road is released.

I believe that it comes down to Nintendo's policy of not having multiples of the same item in their Wii Shop. Effectively, that means that XBL and the PSN will list the individual songs (Maxwell's Silver Hammer, Oh! Darling etc.), as well as a download of Abbey Road. For whatever reason, Nintendo doesn't allow such a system.
