i think linkin park would be great for rock band
their new song given up would be awesome ;)

Yes. The strong parts of the band are vocals and drumming, they always have been, but newer songs, like No More Sorrow, Given Up, and Qwerty, show off a little bit of guitar. Given Up and Qwerty would be the best on all instruments. Good bass lines, good guitar, and the norm of great vocals and drumming. In terms of older songs, Place for My Head would be the best guitar you will find, and Somewhere I Belong has a complicated-sounding drum pattern in it. No More Sorrow, with it's dueling guitars, should be in GH and not Rock Band. But LP themselves should totally be in it (I might be a little biased though)

this is what people don't understand about DLC. THERE WILL NOT BE UNLIMITED DLC. bands like linkin park and FOB would be taking up a space that could've been for a better band.

I've seen your name in over half of the topics in here. Usually it's saying that band sucks blahblah. It's not your choice. Lots of people like LP and just because you think it would be boring doesn't mean everyone does. God dammit maybe you should understand that. /quit_life if having LP DLC for those who do like it hurts you so much.

Because some people like the MUSIC. There is guitar, bass, drums, and singing. If you like the song, it's not going to be boring to play in at least one way or another.

I would pay double for LP DLC if they made it =P I love LP, I really wanna see Given up, Faint, and Breaking the habit mostly for vocals.

not necessarily. one of my favorite songs is "hurt" by nine inch nails, and that would bore me to death to play in this game.
seriously, i really dont care if you like a certain band or not, base what you want on how fun it would be to play. im not saying dont go for what you want, im saying go for what you want as long as its more than 2 notes.

Normally, I'd agree. If someone posts a suggestion people shouldn't just come in and crap all over it.

Ehh. I actually like Linkin Park in general (just...not their new album), but they're not the first band I think of as something I want to play in Rock Band. So...I wouldn't ***** if they made it available, I'd probably buy it as long as it was stuff from Hybrid Theory or Meteora, but I can think of bands I'd rather see first.

exactly. that throws it up for discussion. i say linkin park's music is boring for this game and back it up with proof(their songs are 5 power chords repeated in various forms). sure the vocals would be fun, but then save that for karoke revolution, not this.

i liked linkin parks first cd, but even then the vocals are the strong point, the rest of the music is boring, and you would take out half the fun of the lyrics when you can only do half of them (rapping or singing) unless they merged them together. i vote no if it were a straight up karaoke game it would be fine but not with a full band.

No you're both wrong. Sales don't tell who rocks or sucks. And "musical ability" doesn't tell who rocks or sucks. You do. The taste bashing in here is getting bad. I listened to Qwerty yesterday on my Zune shuffle, and I never really realized, the drums are very very very good to that song. Combine that with mid-speed rapping, actual good guitar, some cool bass, and Chester yelling, it'd be a hell of a fun song. Since it's a "Underground only" song, not many have probably heard of it. Also, Hybrid Theory = One of the 100 highest selling CD's ever, with 10 million sold. Also, 2nd highest rock album since 2000 (only Human Clay is higher)

I wasnt talking about sales, its the fact of how many people actually buy it. and if all those people came on here wanting Linkin Park in Rock Band, Harmonix would put them in, seeing millions of requests to do it.
(to the bold part) rofl, so your saying Musical Ability = me sucking. if not, then please make that ALOT more clearer. I know Musical Ability doesnt mean who rocks or sucks, but it tells you how talented they are, and different they are. How many bands do you see out there with the type of style that linkin park does. 1. and thats linkin park. Now-a-days, you see bands copy each other styles, and thats why alot of the music these days suck.
