Other than to get money, is there any reason to complete the Solo Tour on Easy? I've finished it in Medium and am working through Hard right now. Easy is a bit boring. But, is there any benefit to completing it?

I don't see any point, even money-wise. I jumped right to Expert and it doesn't do anything about your overall score or extras. Your total score is made up of your highest scores on a song, no matter the difficulty. And you're going to make a lot more money from repeating songs.

From what I understand, it's not like Guitar Hero where you only get a certain total amount of money on a song one time and are therefore encouraged to complete songs in multiple difficulties; you get the money each time a song is played on a difficulty in solo tour, even if you've beaten that song on that difficulty before (someone correct me if I'm wrong there.)
That would mean that pretty much the only reason to play solo tour on easy if you're capable of medium or hard, is to unlock songs for a co-op party without wearing yourself out too much ahead of time. :)

The only reason I'll end up doing it is to have 58/58 beside all categories. ;)

I know it may seem startling that not everyone is godly at these games out of the box, but perhaps there are young children and spastic adults who are using this as their first foray into the rhythm game genre and need to get the hang of the game through Easy mode to truly learn the requisite skills for success?
Of course, I could be totally wrong.

You can't access all songs on Easy, though, so it would be 43/43.

I started my first GH on Easy because I didn't really know how easy "Easy" was going to be. Once I got through about the first four tiers, I figured I'd just finish it.
One more thing: you could always try going through a difficulty level entirely with the minifrets. If Medium gives you trouble doing that, step down until you're more proficient.
