Why was the Ps2 release pushed back to the 28th?

i got an email for the store i preordered rock band for ps2 and it got pushed back. This makes me mad because my older brother and sister are coming home for Christmas and now i wont be able to rock with them can i have an explanation from Harmoinx maybe to why they had to push the release of the special edition for ps2 for 18 days!

Maybe that truckload of Rock Band that got stolen was all PS2 bundles? :)

Wal-Mart flyer says it's available on 12/16, but quantites will be limited. How do people already have it? I can't believe that everyone is buying the PS3 bundle and PS2 standalone game. What gives?

I checked best buy, wal-mart and circuit city today. They only had the 360 and PS3 versions.
