5th Gen Guitar?

I had a miscommunication with the girlfriend, and I saw sitting in the back of her Commander Today was "Rock Band" and I was like "Huh?!" Shes like I thought you wanted another one because yours was broken.


Anyways small talk aside, Pics up soon I'll open it up, I decided to open it up out of pure curiosity's , Box says dec 1st ship date.

The Guitar strum bar is very clicky, like my xplorer and les paul.

it would be nice if harmonix would comment on things like this. that way people wouldnt have to open up their guitars to see what kind they had. also, i kind of feel like early adopters are getting the shaft for getting the game right when it came out. there should not be 5 generations of guitars within a month of the game. also, if this is true, what about the people who are mad that the strum bar doesnt click (not me)? do they have to send their guitars in again and just hope they get a clicky one? that seems kind of dumb.

The 2nd Gen of guitars have the micro switch which gave a tactile switching feel, so I'd guess it's 2nd gen.

1st gen: metal strips
2nd gen: micro switches
3rd gen: Magnetic relay

The Guitar strum bar is very clicky, like my xplorer and les paul.
If it's actually clicky on par with the explorer, that would be a first... and disappointing for those of us who enjoyed the quieter strat design. I'm curious to see what the inside looks like.
