At the top of my head, I can think of five Ringo songs on disc. Did they try to give singers like Ringo and George a fair amount of songs, even though they didn't sing that much anyway? Has anyone said anything about them having to choose songs sung by certain members? It seems that the two most selections people complain about are both by Ringo, being Boys and I Wanna Be Your Man. Do you think these were picked solely because they were sung by Ringo, and they had to pick something? Personally, I would replace I Wanna Be Your Man and somehow fit in Act Naturally.

well they have yellow submarine, with a little help and octopus's garden...
all songs I'd consider to be GOOD ringo songs....

Ringo and Harrison songs aren't owned by Michal Jackson, sooo.... yeah, they were easier to get a hold of.

Lennon/McCartney wrote the Ringo songs bar Boys and Octopus's Garden, as well as Do You Want To Know A Secret.

Do you just not like the songs because Ringo sings them? I mean in the end even if you don't like Ringo, it's not like he wrote those songs. They're still fun, great songs.
And all the Ringo songs on disc except "Boys" and "Octopus' Garden" is owned by Sony/ATV (Michael Jackson) so that has nothing to do with it.

I think Boys and I Wanna Be Your Man is fine for the game or else Ringo would've been left out and their are a lot of Ringo fans out there that would feel disappointed.

I think you mean "With a Little Help...." Ringo is the sole writing credit on Octopus's Garden(although George did help him with it).

No, I think you misunderstood me. Lennon/McCartney wrote the Ringo songs in-game bar Boys (written by whoever wrote it for The Shirelles and Octopus's Garden (written by Ringo). WALHFMF was a Lennon/McCartney number, as was I Wanna Be Your Man.

Here's a better question; can I delete the Ringo songs off the disc like I can other songs I don't like in Rock Band?

Do you want to pass some time on jail for hacking the game disc?

Hahahahaha! Right. Actually, after you legally install the game to your hard drive (at least that was the case with the songs imported from RB1 into RB2, AND all DLC) I can go through the HD section of my 360 and remove crap I'd prefer to never play. Like Ringo songs.
No one can go onto a disc and remove contents that way. ahahahahaha adorable!

Harmonix had access to the complete library... it has nothing to do with how easy it was to get a hold of, every song was available to them.

Same here but that's not a Ringo song.
Did people forget about Don't Pass Me By?

No, you can't do that. The exported songs from RB1 to RB2 were saved as individual tracks as "Save Game" files. DLC works the same way, one file per song.
Games installed to your HDD don't have that. You will not be able to delete individual songs from your TB:RB game.

Ringo's songs are great, I'm glad that he has that many songs on-disc.

I'm going to have to take a pic of what I'm talking about once I get home from this resort, aren't I?

I'm not big on those two songs, but I love Ringo and his voice. Maybe they could've put in Don't Pass Me By?

I would have preferred Boys and I Wanna Be Your Man to be DLC, and have two other on-disc songs. The songs are okay, but definitely not essential Beatles songs.

Matchbox would be cool to sing & play. But it's a Carl Perkins cover, so who knows...

So? Boys is a Shirelles cover. I'd love to have Matchbox or any of the Long Tall Sally EP for DLC.
