My PLAN, Yours?

With only a week left before The Beatles: RockBand arrives I've decided to do a few things so when I receive it I have not a great time but a monumentally amazing time.

1. Will not listen to the Beatles this week. (Its going to be hard)

2. Will stay away from forums. (if I can)

3. Will take a day off on release date or day after .

4. Will have a full band to play it.

Anyone else planning their first play?

Not really, I'm not going to be able to buy the game on release. But it's impossible for me not to hear them for an entire week, I'd die.

hahaha you opened a can of worms here. I ordered the bundle and both guitars(paid off). I ordered the mono set of remasters. I got cymbals, a boom mic stand and a drum throne. I bought a house with a game room to set it all up in. Having a party on 09-09-09 to celebrate. Brother coming from the midwest for vacation at that time. Full band theatrics will ensue. I think I've pretty much got it covered. :D

I'll be at the shop ready to pick it up at 9am on 09/09/09. Then I just plan on playing the f*** out of it throughout the day (I have Wednesday's off uni). I'm planning on having some people over to play it in the evening, and I'm hoping to have gone through the story mode by then.

As I'll be one of the first forum-goers to get the game, I'll have my computer nearby and field any questions people might have.

Stay outside of Gamestop at 9:30 until they open at 10. Get the copy and play a few songs with my mom in quickplay. At about 3:30, my band should all have the game and we will play through career.

Plan is to find a store that will be opening as early as possible and then go straight to work after purchase because our delivery guys are a day late that week because of a holiday on Monday. Normally they deliver on Tuesday which would have allowed me all the time in the world on Wednesday to pick it up.

So I will have my big box o Beatles staring at me all day long while I go about my business and then I will rush like mad home to play for at least 6 hours and then go to bed and go to work again.

1. I'll be doing the same thing. I'm on my mom's laptop because my computer is broken, so I've been without the Beatles for about three weeks now.

2. I will stay away from forums too. It seems there's only a very few things left to be announced, and there is only one thing left that I want to know. I can wait ten more days for it though.

3. My first day of school is the 10th, and I go in at 11 get out around 12. I'll probably play a few songs before school and all day after.

4. My 4 is different. Me and my brother will switch off, so we'll both get a chance to watch the background on my new HDTV.

5. I, along with a lot of other people, will be completing the game in one day, and then some. I hope to have some friends over, order some food...

I'm going to the midnight party at my local Gamestop with my friends. Then we're going to play through Story Mode. Then get the Remastered Stereo Box Set. Then play the game the rest of the day

Well, I just preordered it from GS today. I'll go to school on Wednesday from 8:00-10:50, go pick it up during my down time, go back to school from 1:30-3:20, go to the orthodontist, then come home and play the game for the rest of the night (maybe some study time if I have a test on Thursday, but I'm definitely spending most my time on Rock Band).

That's the plan. I'm off and the wife is working, so no distractions whatsoever. I'll blaze through the Story Mode and then QuickPlay favorites from there.

I typically play bass, but my sister's getting this too, and she *always* has to play bass. So I'll have to get used to playing guitar for this game. I see plenty of practice ahead.

3 of my best friends are coming Friday, with mic stands and an extra guitar. We will have everyone actually play the parts that the Beatles did (drummer will sing Ringo songs, guitarist will sing Harrison, etc) And wear suits, and get bowl cuts for the occasion.

At midnight, pick up the Mono Masters (hopefully at Best Buy), return home, have a quick listen, go to bed. Awake a few hours later at 9 am, head to Gamestop and pick up my reserved bundle, come home and play the game all day with my brother. At 5pm, my wife will come home from work and the party has its third member. Back to work the next day. Big party the following weekend.

Download 'All You Need is Love' in the morning before school so it's ready to go. On the way home from school (at 2:30) pick up the game from Gamestop. When I get home, do my homework (if I have any), eat, and then the Beatles for the rest of the evening. Sadly, I'll be playing alone because none of my siblings or best friends like the Beatles as much as me. My brother or mom may join in for a little while though.

My plan is to rush to Gamestop during my work lunchbreak, pick up my preorder, then have the box propped up on my desk while I finish the workday (good thing I'm only getting the software).

After work, I'm gonna rip the plastic off, pop that sucker into the Wii and play And Your Bird Can Sing. Then I'm going to eat. Then I'm going to play career mode till 3 in the morning. Of course, if iTunes has announced the Beatles, I'll be downloading songs at the same time.

That's the plan. Nothing ever works out as planned, though. I'll probably trip and break my arm in the parking lot.

My Plan is too wake up at 6:30 for school(LATE START YAY!!!!) maybe download "All You Need Is Love" get on the bus go to school till 3 then get home around 3:30 get all homework done, rip open the box i should get from ups that day. Play through at least part of the game then head over to practice from 5:00-6:30, eat-dinner play until i have to go to bed which will be like 10:00 so i can get up at 5:30 the next day :( Do that for Thursday except open the box and have practice and Then on Friday the morning stays the same but when i get home maybe finish homework then just play all night long sleep, play all day and night, Sunday Play all day

I will wake up promptly at 6:00 AM. I will then take a shower followed by brushing my teeth. I will then get dressed and fix my hair. Then it gets exciting. I will walk out of the bathroom and go through the living room and out into the garage. Thats when I get into my car. I will start it and put in reverse, but not before I open the garage door. Then I drive out and close the garage door. I will drive to GameStop and tell the clerk, "Give me The Beatles:Rock Band kind sir." The clerk will then say "I am a woman I just wear my hair short, and were sold out."
Then I will cry and go home alone and watch the Lifetime Movie Network.

I'll be repeatedly calling work from Friday onwards until they finally tell me the game's been delivered (or they sack me for non-stop harassment :) ) and then get everything home and play non-stop until I fall asleep slumped over my Hofner...and a few hours later I'll wake up and do the same the next day!

I unfortunately have no holidays left to book at work, so I've changed all my shifts round from 9/9 onwards so that I finish early and i can spend the rest of the day (3pm until i collapse!) playing as much of the game as I can!

Getting it delivered to work too, so I cant wait to see the face of the others in the office when it arrives :)
