Maybe because all Linkin Park songs provably sound the same? Or possibly because the singer has a weird voice? Or perhaps because the background rapping is lame? Or it could be because they are as radio friendly as Britney Spears with their lighter-than-KoRn sound, no cursing, and songs with no real meaning that appeal to people who think they mean something?

I just hate them. But that's just me.

dude LP is totally friggin' awesome. sure not all of thier songs are great. but they have a bunch of good songs.
my fav is what i've done. i'm not really going to get into the songs meanings. i dont really care if the song has a meaning or not, if the song is good, i'll listen to it.

To quote Given Up, "Put me out of my f***ing misery". Sounds like no cursing to me. And Bleed It Out has that word twice.

BACK ON TOPIC, some of my favorites are Linkin Park, Blink-182, Breaking Benjamin, Three Days Grace, System of a Down, Boston, old Green Day, and The Police.

I agree with the lame rapping and like 2/3rd of their songs sounding the same. However, I have to disagree with you on the last bit. Their songs are plenty poetic. And you're a total noob if you think you need profanity up the wazoo to make it a good song. Most of the classic bands don't swear. Even in heavy metal plenty of great bands get off just with without dropping F bombs left and right.

Yes, Cream and Allman Brothers Band are rock bands. Cream is a band from the 60s. Allman Brothers Band is a southern rock band.

My favorite bands are Led Zeppelin,Blue Oyster Cult,Rush,Boston, and Yes.
