does it work on a pc, for say recording purposes, i really need a good mic and was wondering if this works?

Why don't you try it? Seriously... it's not hard to plug in and try, but yes, it works. It's just like any USB microphone (and sounds good).

I recorded myself playing drums with it and it really works good.
