whammy bar issues

i broke the spring for the whammy bar and now its hard to controle the whammy does anyone know where i can find a replacement spring? i dont want to buy a new guitar i would just like to fix this one its still really new but out of the 60 day policy which sucks. thanks.

The quick fix without opening the controller is to loop a rubber band around the whammy and then around the strap peg.

Instant return spring. You can even adjust the tension by using mutiple loops or different bands.
