Is the bass pedal needed?

I had a question before I got Rock Band. I'm getting it for X-mas and was wondering if the bass pedal to need to play the drums and why it is used. :confused:

Easy answer plain and simple is yes, you will need to use the pedal. It is argueably the most important part of the set. Don't sweat it though, easy and medium won't throw too many orange bars your way:cool:

ya u do if u dint want to miss a bunch of notes, is really simple just practice on it with easy songs at first you'll get the hang of it really quick
