Great headset....thought i'd share it..

Just got a pair of these:

Plugs directly into the optical port on the PS3 (or 360). Produces 5.1 surround. Great for playing really loud without bothering neighbors or family.

I notice this has a detachable mic, do you know if the mic works as a vocal mike for singing in the game?

For PS3 I don't think so. For 360 it's supposed to plug into the controller for chatting on Live so it may work, but I have a PS3 so not sure.

dude i have the exact same thing lol. works very well, i recommend it. That is if you can afford $130, which is what i paid for it with S&H.

I paid $105 for them, but they are well worth it. Much better than the speakers on my TV and for playing Rock Band I can hear all the instruments clearly and when on the drums, I can't even hear the tapping.
