My Green Drum Pad snapped off

Anyone have one of the pads on their drum set snap off? If so could you return it?

I don't think you could return it, as it was you that broke it. (unless it was cracked from the start)

I don't see why you can't return it. Is it his fault that it broke? I assume it broke during gameplay. If that is the case, then you should be able to return, since it was faulty.

Now, if you used a hammer to play, then you are SOL. But either way, post up a pic please.

sounds to me like they would consider that "excesive abuse." The only problems with the pads and their faulty design is the unresponsiveness and MAYBE them cracking. If you managed to snap it off completely then you must have been wailing on it with a crowbar. None the less, I would order a replacement and hope that they honor their warranty with you. Good Luck!

I've seen someone break the green off before at walmart. They werent wailing on it (It was a 9 yr old kid)

I've also heard reports about it. The red and green dont have nearly enough support on them. I've been thinking of doing a bracing mod as preventative maintence.

Interesting, thats news to me. I just guess i haven't had issues with the pads actually breaking off. Its just that rolls sucks on the pads due to unresponsiveness. Is this a common problem and should i take preventative measures? I play on expert so I am normally giving the pads a good WHACK!

Neither of my red or green pads have broken off, but they sure are flimsy. I was pondering ways to reinforce them (when I finally get a replacement set that is).

that happend to the demo drum set at the wal-mart here it was quite funny to see it happen but thats just a demo and everyone pounds on them
